Beyond Myself

Living beyond myself...

Okay. This is my first blog. I have pondered what I should talk about for over a day. How do I start this thing? I really have no people terribly desiring to read up on my life. I do know close friends and family that would like to just see some cute pictures of my family. I keep a journal and have kept one since the 2nd grade (I have a huge plastic container of my childhood musings). So, I am not new to the journaling thing...Just not used to people reading it.  I have no agenda.

Well, that's a lie. I have an agenda. If people read this, if there is anything I would want them to know, it's that there is an amazing God that loves and cares for us, and He sent His Son to die on our behalf. Jesus, God's one and only son, died on a cross and on the third day, rose from the grave and lives even today! I know Him. I talk with Him. I follow Him. And you can too.

There...that's my agenda. It's my life's purpose. I live for Someone Beyond Myself. 

I am not perfect (ask my husband, he'd probably just smile and say nothing...which is smart). But, I follow a perfect God and He still loves me. I have given my life over to Him and He has called Brian and I into ministry.

I figure, with this blog. I'll write my rants, my musings over life, and of course, show some amazing pictures of the gorgeous children God has blessed me with.
